What are CBD edibles?

CBD edibles are edible products such as gummies, candy, cookies, brownies, and other food or drinks that contain cannabidiol. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the many cannabinoids that occur naturally in the hemp plant. CBD is often used for its potential health benefits, and edible products are a great way to take CBD oil as a dietary supplement.

What’s the difference between CBD edibles and CBD oil?

Full spectrum CBD oil is the pure hemp oil extracted from the hemp plant. CBD oil can also refer to the tinctures, water solubles, and topical serums made from CBD oil. CBD edibles are food and candy products that contain this CBD hemp oil extract. So, instead of using CBD oil in as a tincture placed under the tongue, dissolved in water, or as a topical serum, it can be eaten instead. CBD edibles include gummies, candy, brownies, cookies, lemon bars, and other food items, as well as beverages such as coffee, tea, or sparkling water.

How are CBD edibles used?

CBD edibles are meant to be eaten. Since edible CBD products have to be digested, the CBD is not immediately absorbed into the bloodstream. This does not reduce the effectiveness of the CBD, but simply delays absorption slightly. CBD edibles can be taken daily or as needed. Follow the directions given on the edible product you purchase. Make sure to read the serving size on the particular product you are taking, since some of our edible products have a serving size of half of a brownie or cookie.

What are the benefits of CBD edibles?

CBD edibles may help support cartilage and joint function, provide positive mental support, help improve mood, promote relaxation, help maintain immune system and cardiovascular function, and provide relief for mild discomfort. CBD may also promote feelings of focus, provide relief from occasional difficulty sleeping, and help remove impurities from the body. CBD can be taken daily or as needed as a dietary supplement.

Do CBD edibles have THC?

THC is a cannabinoid known for its “high” or psychoactive effect. Our full-spectrum CBD products contain <0.3% THC content in compliance with the legal limit and produce absolutely no psychoactive effects. We also offer a lab tested and guaranteed THC-free version of some of our edible CBD products for those who prefer CBD with no THC or who live in a state where only THC-free products are allowed.
